Vanity, a.k.a. Matt Oliver, is an 18 year old bass music producer hailing from Leicester, UK. He mainly focuses on producing the deeper, darker side of Dubstep, yet also tries his trade in other genres such as Experimental, Ambient, and 2-Step. He first started dabbling in music production in 2009, inspired by the likes of Massive Attack and Burial to name just a few. It wasn’t until 2011 Vanity started taking Music production seriously, and decided to join a College course on the subject to enhance his knowledge and skills further. Vanity’s style of production fuses darkness, ambience, and bass together, to create truly deep productions whilst at the same time maintaining the energy within them that is necessary to get people moving on a dance floor. Drawing from a unique arsenal of beats composed in various styles all around the 140bpm mark, Vanity’s productions put the listener into a different head space bringing carefully placed elements into vivid focus. Vanity is a name to look out for, bringing different vibes to you’re speakers with each new composition.

We are proud to release his first single, Low Voltage Volume 19, which embodies the series’ mission of providing quality, deep, bass heavy music to fans worldwide.
